AdMental is an annual event that asks Emerging Advertising Creatives to create an ad promoting mental health and wellbeing. This event is presented by Adelaide Advertising and Design Club (AADC), SA Health’s Office of Public Health, the Mental Health Coalition of South Australia and the Don Dunstan Foundation which forms the Organising Committee.
Each year the Committee works on a creative brief that targets a specific demographic and mental health message which is determined by the Organising Committee and partners. Funding for AdMental is raised by the organising committee including pro-bono time and volunteers.
The Mental Health Coalition of SA are the organisers of the event with collective responsibility of the Organising Committee. Winners of AdMental are determined by an expert panel of Advertising and Marketing representatives. Winners are determined at the event and decisions are final.
